Online Courses

When does the course start and finish?

  • All courses are online and self-paced.

How long do I have access to the Online Courses?

  • You will have access to each course for 3 years from the date of purchase.

Can I renew access to a course after 3 years.

  • Yes!
  • Contact us and ask for a course renewal for another 3 years. Send an email to or call us on 1300 620 872
  • FYI – We have put a validity date on the courses to keep track of who is using the content. However if you are still finding Renovation Collaborative helpful we want you to keep your access!

How do I get access to membership?

When you purchase any course you will receive a confirmation email containing the information you need to access the membership features including:

  • Renovation Collaborative Community (Private Facebook Group): A link to access the Facebook Group page, and a one time password to use when entering the group for the first time.
  • Q&A Resources: A personal login to the website to get access the courses you have purchased and the Q&A Resources.

How long do I have access to Membership?

  • Renovation Collaborative Community (Private Facebook Group): You will receive lifetime access to the Community when you buy any course.
  • Q&A Resources: Your personal login to access Q&A will remain valid for as long as you have a valid course.  (Courses are valid for three years from the date of purchase, but can be renewed for another 3 years on request). If you renew access to any course you have purchased, your Q&A access will also be renewed for the same length of time.

Can I get a refund if I am unhappy with an online course or live online classroom?

  • Absolutely!
  • If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 30 days of your purchase and you will receive a full refund.

Live Online Classrooms

How do I book in to a Live Online Classroom?

  • You must purchase the corresponding written course before you can purchase the Live Online classroom.
  • Select the date from the calendar that suits you, and you will be take to the payment page.

What if I have bought the written course but haven’t read it before I attend the live online classroom?

  • The purpose of the Live Online Classroom is to focus on design and solving real design problems presented by each of the class participants.   I will cover the course content briefly, but not step through it in great detail because I will assume you have read it.
  • If you haven’t read the written content first you won’t get the most out of the live class and you may have trouble following the design discussion.

What programme will the Live Online Classrooms use?

  • The Classrooms are conducted as a Zoom seminar.
  • Make sure your device has a microphone and a camera so you can take part in the discussion.

Can we look at my plans in the Online Classroom?

  • Yes!
  • Participants who would like to ask questions may send in their home design drawings and key questions prior to the class.
  • Please email a PDF document of your plans and your key questions at least 7 days before the classroom. This information will be printed for discussion during the live classroom.
  • During the class, each Class Participant will be allocated 15-20mins to discuss their plans and ask questions. Stephanie will provide general educational advice and sketch solutions for discussion.
  • Remember – I am offering education, not project and site specific advice. If you need specific advice, always engage a good architect or other design or building processional.

Can I book in to the same Live Online Classroom more than once?

  • Yes!
  • After attending a Live Classroom as a paid Class Participant, you may attend additional classrooms for no extra cost as an Onlooker.
  • Onlookers may observe the discussion, but not send in drawings or ask questions about their own project.
